Ms access developer
A large blue chip company in central Edinburgh is looking for a self starter who does not require micro management and can deal with the business directly and challenge them accordingly with experience of UI design.
A summary of the required skills are as follows:-
an experienced industrial strength ACCESS developer used to working the full development life cycle on significantly complex projects.
In depth VBA coding experience including the use of APIs, DLLs and OCXs
Experience of Module Classes
In depth ADO knowledge
Knowledge of the Front Office object model
Automation between Front Office products (e.g. between ACCESS and Excel) less important)
Advance querying including single querying using inline sub queries
Table indexing and optimisation
Data connectivity to databases, files and XML
Pass-through queries
Application security and database authentication
