Based in London, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading accountancy organisation with a high reputation. You will be a newly qualified accountant who now wants to specialise in IT and IT Auditing.
You will join a team in IT Advisory Services, where your skills and knowledge will be of benefit to clients who need these specialised services. You must be prepared to travel in the UK and there is a growing need for some foreign travel as well.
You must be a qualified accountant with IT skills including solid Microsoft Sequel (SQL) experience. You should have knowledge of computer assisted audit techniques (CAAT) and preferably using the data analysis software, IDEA. You will be knowledgeable of computers in general and operation controls and should have undertaken both infrastructure and communications reviews. It would be of great benefit if you are already an accredited Certified Information Systems Auditor CISA).
You will be offering clients Advisory Services on Information Technology that will include:- Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Software, Project Implementations and very importantly, Risk. You will also be undertaking due diligence, perhaps at the time of proposed takeovers or mergers, giving advice and reports on the impact that these may have on the Information Technology in the companies concerned.
