Leading the way in the process mapping solution market place, our client is a reputable software solutions provider with clients ranging from Microsoft and BAE Systems, to Cambridge University. An opportunity has now arisen for a talented Software Developer / Applications Developer to join their team.

In this role you will join their enthusiastic Software Engineering team that’s responsible for all aspects of software production, development and maintenance. As an integral part of the team you will get the chance to play a key role, whilst developing your skills along the way.

As a Software Developer / Applications Developer you will be responsible for assisting with the full range of software production activities from the early concept development stages through to post-sales troubleshooting and support as required. The bulk of your time will however be spent producing code according to the design documentation and the outcome of various design workshops held during the development process.

To succeed in this role you must be an experienced Software Developer / Applications Developer with exposure to the development stages through to post-sales. Any formal qualifications would be beneficial to your application, but aren’t essential.

The main skills required for this role are VB, .Net and ASP.

Any of the following additional skills would be beneficial to your application:

- A little C# in Visual Studio 2003 and 2005
- InstallShield
- Visual SourceSafe
- Virtual PC
- IIS
- XML and XSL
- Microsoft Visio API
- Various scripting languages as appropriate such as
