Our esteemed client, the world leader in biometric identity assurance, requires energetic, senior consultants. Working with clients and partners you'll be deploying identity assurance solutions.
The role will encompass assigned solution architecture, custom software design and development tasks and integrating products into a complete identity assurance system. Additionally you will be given the opportunity to work on configuration and customization of bespoke biometric products and applications.
The scope of work will include:
Deriving product and software requirements from proposed system solutions
Design, development, and deployment of customer solutions based on products and technology
Participating in the gathering of functional requirements
Documenting design decisions and delivering all design collaterals
Development (coding and unit testing) of various product artifacts as required using Web Services, .Net, Java, XML, and SQL technologies
Skills and experience sought:
Strong interface design and development experience. In particular, experience of enterprise system integration issues (reliability, scalability, transactionality, security etc.)
Deep specialist in either .NET OR Java technologies with strong working knowledge of the other.
Strong development knowledge of enterprise relational databases (e.g. Oracle or DB2 Server)
Experience with web servers and application servers such as IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, and Oracle Application Server for Java specialists.
Excellent business oral, writing, communication, and presentation skills
Being a sensitive sphere of work you'll have or had Security Clearance. Server Side J2EE and at least 5 years “hands on” experience is a must. Experience in information security, biometrics, PKI infrastructures and large government organizations is a major plus as well as exposure to OASIS XML standards (WSS, SAML.etc).
Security Clearance is essential. Our client is willing to see candidates whose Security Clearances have expired or are in the process of applying for one.
